I had a dream recently that stirred something deep inside of me. In the dream, I was standing in the shallow part of the ocean surrounded by people. Out in the distance, I saw a massive cruise ship—bright, beautiful, and filled with life. I knew that if I wanted to reach it, I would have to leave the shallow water and swim out into the deep.

That thought terrified me. The further I walked out, the deeper the water got, and I reminded myself, “I’m not a swimmer.” Fear rose in my chest, but so did another truth: I couldn’t stay where I was. The ship was calling me.

So I made a decision. I turned on my back, let go of control, and began to backstroke. Slowly but surely, I glided over the waves. With every stroke, I left fear behind. When I finally arrived at the ship, I was amazed. Inside, I saw celebrities everywhere. Not only was I in their presence, but I was welcomed—I was eating with them, laughing with them, belonging with them.

🌟 The Deeper Meaning

Dreams often carry symbols, and this one spoke so clearly.

• The shallow water represents safety and comfort zones. It’s where life feels manageable, but also where growth is limited.

• The deep water symbolizes risk, faith, and the unknown. It’s intimidating because we can’t control it on our own.

• The cruise ship is destiny, purpose, and the abundance God has waiting for us.

• The celebrities represent influence, elevation, and doors of opportunity that once felt out of reach—but in God’s timing, become accessible.

What struck me most was how I got there. I didn’t swim with perfect skill. I didn’t have to be strong enough on my own. I simply surrendered—floating on my back, trusting the water to hold me, stroke by stroke until I arrived.

This is how God works in our lives. He doesn’t require perfection, only trust.

đź“– A Table Prepared

The Bible says:

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” — Psalm 23:5

“Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.” — Proverbs 22:29

God is reminding us that when we dare to step out of the shallow and into the deep, He not only carries us but positions us. He prepares tables we could never have set for ourselves. He opens doors to rooms we once thought we’d only admire from afar.

đź’ Reflection

Maybe you feel God calling you out of the shallow. Maybe there’s a “ship” in your life—an opportunity, a dream, or a higher calling—that feels too far out and too impossible to reach. Fear says, “You can’t swim that far.” But faith whispers, “Turn on your back. Trust Me. I’ll carry you.”

The shallow is safe, but the deep is where destiny lives.
