A Devotional with Scripture
True wisdom begins not in the world, but in the presence of God. Why search the streets for answers when your Heavenly Father offers truth freely to those who ask?
Lord, You are my light in the darkness, my guide in the unknown. The only way to You is through Jesus Christ, my Savior and Redeemer. Thank You for securing my past, guiding my present, and holding my future in Your hands.
Your Word is alive—powerful and precise. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Through Your Word, I find peace in confusion and strength in weakness.
Though I am flawed and undeserving, Your mercy and grace cover me daily. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. For delivering me. For holding my hand when I’m weary. For never giving up on me.
I am fully convinced: No death, no life, no fear, no failure—nothing can separate me from Your love. No demon, no past, no mistake can remove Your presence from my life.
So I come boldly, but humbly. Asking for wisdom. Seeking discernment. Knocking on the door of deeper understanding. You promised: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened.”
Be glorified in me, Lord. Let Your will be done in my life. You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Have mercy on me and those I love, that we may dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Amen.
